Terms of Service
Please make sure all guests arrive at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled Tour/Adventure for adequate time to register and sign all pertinent documentation, take care of payments, receive instruction, and load the Vehicle prior to departure. We try to maintain a family friendly environment. No Alcohol, Drugs, Smoking, or Foul Language will be permitted. We ask that all guests follow the Golden Rule of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
Happy Trails Adventure Co. reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who may be under the influence, acting irrationally, or unable to comply with the standards and rules of Happy Trails Adventure Co. All of our guides are professionals and have the right to end a Tour/Adventure if they believe a participant may endanger themselves or other guests.
All Participants must wear shoes and clothing appropriate for outdoor recreation. No Flip-flops
Active clothing is highly recommended since you will be engaging in some physical activity.
Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Please bring the appropriate clothing for the weather and your adventure.
Please bring or wear your sun protection: Sunscreen, lip balm, hat, jacket, snacks, and use the Scout motto to BE PREPARED!
Please be honest with yourself and Happy Trails Adventure Co. in knowing your limitations. It is for your own safety and the safety of others that all are aware of what you are capable of and comfortable with. Please be mindful of the needs of others.
All scheduled Tours/Adventures are to be Paid in Full at time of reservation.
Any cancellations outside of 60 days prior to scheduled date, will be deducted a 20% cancellation fee.
Any cancellations between 30-60 days prior to scheduled date, will be deducted a 40% cancellation fee.
No Refund for any cancellations within 30 days of scheduled date, or No Shows.
All Cancellations will be required to submit a written notice to firstname.lastname@example.org. No cancellations will be accepted via phone. Cancellation is not valid until a confirmation email has been received.
We highly recommend Travel insurance to cover any changes in your plans or expenses.
In the event that Happy Trails Adventure Co cancels your scheduled Tour/Adventure for any reason, a full refund will be given as well as 10% off your next booking for any inconvenience.
Happy Trails Adventure reserves the right to change or adjust tour times or locations.
“NO GO” Policy/CANCELLATIONS
Please understand that No refunds will be given to any guest who is unable to complete their chosen Tour/Adventure. We want everyone to have a great experience, so please be aware of what you have chosen to do. If you have any questions, please ask. If you still choose to opt out during your chosen Tour/Adventure, please also understand that you are fully responsible for the cost of transportation, search and rescue, and/or evacuation.
Happy Trails is not responsible for inbound flight delays or outside events that negatively impact your scheduled time with Happy Trails Adventure Co. Due to full time-slots and guide schedules, Happy Trails is required to stay prompt with each Tour/Adventure. Tours will be required to leave on time, whether all guests have checked in or not. If you happen to miss your scheduled Tour/Adventure, we will do our best to reschedule you for another day. No refunds will be given to Late Arrivals, No-Shows or personal emergencies.
The safety of our guests is paramount so in the event of severe weather such as: High Winds, Blizzards, Thunderstorms, Flash Floods, or any severe weather advisory, all Tours and Adventures may be cancelled. Happy Trails Adventure promises to notify in advance if any Tours/Adventures have been cancelled due to weather. Please assume the Tour/Adventure is still on unless you hear otherwise. If you are unsure, please call us to confirm. All Tours/Adventure will still run with rain, slight snow, or after the storm has passed, because of this, weather delays may be a possibility.
Be advised by local weather patterns and dress accordingly. Remember that weather changes quickly and Utah is no exception to that, so be prepared for any “Act of God”. Please keep in mind that “bad” weather seldom results in cancelled tours. Some of the best Photography, Scenic, and Hiking Tours are experience during changing weather.
Due to possible National or State Park Closures (or when advised by Park Officials not to enter), Happy Trails may have to cancel scheduled Tours/Adventures until Parks have been reopened. In the event that the Parks close or shut down full credit will be given to reschedule or credit may be used towards another existing adventure. There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy including Illness (including Covid-19 and any other trending Illness), weather, Acts of God (floods, fires, rockslides, droughts, civil unrest, Government or Park shutdown, etc). We are happy to issue credits for future tour dates.
No refund will be given for missed Tour/Adventure because of inclement weather.
Please DO NOT leave your things unattended on the bus or vehicle . Happy Trails Adventure will not be held responsible for your personal Items.

Happy Trails Adventure Co. accepts all major Credit Cards as well as Certified Checks and Direct Wire Transfers.
Because of the recent influx of Tourism and Travel fraud in the Travel Industry, for your safety and the safety of Happy Trails Adventure Co. We have been authorized to provide Guests with a discounted rate when paying with Certified Checks or Direct wire transfer. If any type of service, travel or tourism fraud occurs, the Person or Persons involved will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, the legal systems and in the local Courts in Utah as well as in the local law of the fraudulent Guest.
